We enjoyed our stay at the Red Lion. The maid kept our room cleaned each of the 4 days we were there. The breakfast buffet food was very good however the staff didnt seem to keep the trays of food full. But again the food was great. We would stay there again. We were disappointed that the room was $63 plus $8.50 a day and all the adds online kept showing $38. Of course even when I made reservations 5 weeks early the $38 rooms were not available. We went to Okla for our sons graduation at Ft.Sill. Everything is close by.

My in-laws all live in Lawton, Oklahoma. Therefore, we take trips to this part of the state several times a year. I also travel as part of my job and have slept in several different hotel in this area. This "Holiday Inn" has actually been renamed the Red Lion Inn. I stayed there right before the name changed and could not believe how far Holiday Inn had fallen. The doors and rooms were very old. They had a restaurant on site. However, on this particular morning my regional manager and I were checking out and watched as the staff almost fought.
There was a lot of yelling, screaming and people left quickly. Recently my brother-in-law was graudating from boot camp at Fort Sill. Most of the hotels were booked so I called this place. There online quote was $84 per night. However, when I called I was quoted nearly $130 because of the graduation. I asked about the online quote (expedia) and was promptly told that since everyone was booked that I had little choice and that was the price. Given the poor quality of hotels in this town I will give a slight thumbs up to this one. You will sleep. However, don't expect anything great by any stretch of the imagination.
