“Right on the Lake!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

We stayed overnight here on cabin 363. The view of the lake both inside through the picture windows and outside the cabin was spectacular. If you want all the comforts of home in a Park setting, this is it! Reasonably priced @ $79.69 and MUCH quieter than a hotel. Also, if you have kids, they can run around outside & soak up sunshine! Lots of benches to sit on near the lake for reading or just resting. Relax. Listen to the birds. Watch for deer. We actually liked this one better than Beaver's Bend since it was half the price. Bring your groceries & enjoy, whether it's a picnic or an overnight stay.

“Awesome lake!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

We drove 3 hrs just to take our pontoon boat out on the lake. I had stayed at the lodge about 5 yrs ago but had never been on the lake. We had a flat tire on our boat trailer and had to spend 2 hrs in Tulsa to get it fixed, we almost turned around and went home. Glad we didn't the beauty of,the lake made up for the tire problems. We rode around the lake for about 2 1/2 hrs. and I wish it were closer to home. We had a wonderful time.

“4th of July”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013 via mobile

Our family stays here every 4th of July and we love it! They have activities for adults and the little ones. We love the pool and splash pad for the kids! We always look forward to coming back every year. Oh, we also love the nature center and the deer that come up to see you at dusk!

“Do not Rent the Quad plexes aka cottages”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

Make sure you rent the Duplexes at a minimum, the Quad plexes (marked duplex like) on the States website are nice, but you can hear everything, I mean everything your neighbors are saying.

“Fun times”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013 via mobile

Nice park. We stayed at Cherokee Camp. Clean restrooms, pay showers, water and electric at most sites. Some sites have concrete pads. Layout of place is a little odd with some spots right on top of each other at odd angles. Both pull through sites and back in sites available. Nice lake view. Did some mountain biking on the elaborate trail system they have. Trails aren't very well marked but you end up somewhere and not lost. We've done the horse stables in the past and they are good people. Golf is also available at the lodge at the south end. Full service marina available.
