“Fabulous Catfish”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

This restaurant has the best catfish in the world. We've eaten catfish all over the midwest and south and this is our favorite place. Prices are great too. Green tomato relish is unusual but very tasty.Helpings amble. Service is fine. Highly recommend this restaurant. You won't be sorry!

“If in Grove/Grand Lake area, stop by”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

Solid catfish and sides, great staff, and unbeatable prices. You can feed a family of 4 for around $20 easily.

“Great Pickled Green Tomatoes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

Catfish John's used to be the best place to get catfish. The last few times we've been in there, it seems like the catfish is less and less and the batter is more and more. The pieces have got smaller while the prices keep rising. The brown beans are very good but the pickled green tomatoes are excellent.

I have to admit tho, the food is good.
