Stayed in the Grand Tower and again it didn't disappoint. Rooms are very nice with a large shower. Very nice, large TV with lots of channels (good when you have little kids who need a break from the pool), quiet and clean.
Pool was a lot better this year. Not as crowded (even though it was still crowded) but what was better was that the lifeguards. Last year it was a zoo at the pool. Kids running wild but this year the lifeguards were a lot more in charge and controlling misbehaving kids. Saw one female lifeguard kick 3 kids off the water-slide who wouldn't listen. I was happy about the control they had this year.
Staff was very nice especially the check in girl (darn it forgot her name).
I really wish they would do something about the smoke in the casino. Yes I realize it is a casino and many there smoke but my goodness it is strong. Seemed worse this year. Even in areas like the check-in it was terrible. People were also smoking at the pool areas especially the pool up top where there aren't any lifeguards. Shouldn't be smoking around kids.
Another small complaint is that the movie at the pool cannot be seen at the pool and that is where the sound is. Sat outside the gate with my little boy because that is the only spot you can actually see the screen and could barely hear the sound.
