It is literally a re-purposed big old house. The floors creak as you walk across, but it is cute inside. A small gift area is located by the register. The crowd is mostly "ladies who lunch" but couples can go, and I sometimes see a kid in there.
Great quiche, soups, sandwiches. Selection of flavored iced teas. Great desserts - especially the baked fudge! I found recently they have a 1/2 portion, which comes in a tiny glass footed dish and is perfect if your lunch left you nearly full. When it is busy during the lunch hour, service can be a little slow, but they are very friendly.
