I've been here a time or two growing up and was awe struck by it when I was a kid.
Now with kids of my own and grandkids, it's still awe inspiring. I agree with some who
get bored, but it's not the museum's fault. I have a passion for guns and it is still overwhelming.
I appreciate the fact that someone would share this with the public.
Last summer I took my daughter and grandchildren thinking they would be some of the bored ones but they each loved it. My daughter just had another birthday and she said this is where
she wants to go. There is an area where kids can interact. I had to really keep an eye on my
grandson who wanted to interact with every exhibit. Took some persuasive teaching for him to
understand barrier ropes were there for a reason. He really liked the canons and gatlin gun.
There is also a couple of musket making gun shops. Very informative and interesting. Worth
every penny of FREE or what you would like to contribute. And if you visit in the summer, it is
a really nice cool retreat with really clean restrooms. You'll actually love it, bored or not.
