“Gross beds not clean”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2010

We stayed here one night after being here before a few times. The bed had clearly not been cleaned. It was disgusting...very obvious too.
The carpet was torn up and it was hard to breathe in there. Never coming back.

the rooms are clean and beds are ok. after that it is downhill. parking it pitiful. arrived late at night and parked on gravel and had to walk a block to the entrance. Checked in and the lady working the front desk said that she was tired and would like to be anywhere but there. SKIP breakfast.....oh my...eggs had no taste, biscuts were rock hard, and the gravy was really bad.....toast go with toast if you have to eat here.

Well we were following route 66 and decided that from St. Louis we would stay here; it was just east of Tulsa and 10 miles from the Will Rogers Museum in Claremore and near the Blue Whale route 66 "attraction". We stayed there both heading out west and returning; both times it was on a Sunday and the closest and mostly only restaurant was in the Hard Rock Casino which was across the Interstate. The two meals were okay and since it was a Sunday, if you wanted a drink, you had to settle for beer. But that is a heads up for anyone expecting something more. We did not gamble (it was too smoky) but you can do that if you are so inclined. This is a good place to stay if you are heading west or east and do not want to stay in Tulsa. Holiday Inn Express hotels are something we like to stay at if we are passing through a city.

After reading the other reviews about this hotel, I felt good about booking 4 rooms here. When we got to the hotel, they said they could only give us 2 of the 4 rooms with the rate that I booked on the internet. My whole family had come with me. We were upset to say the least. We ended up just getting 3 rooms. All 3 on different floors unfortunately. The lady at the front desk wasn't even wearing a name tag. She had poor customer service skills and blamed it on "just getting back from a long vacation." I wanted to report her to her supervisor but she wasn't wearing a name tag. And when I asked for the general managers card, she said she couldn't get it because they were kept in the general managers office. I will not stay here again.

Great little hotel.. new, clean and the staff was great. King suite had a small fridge, sink and microwave. Clean, comfortable linens. Great breakfast. Right across the highway from the Hard Rock Casino. Would definitely stay again.

This was our last stop on a trip to Amarillo, TX. We loved this hotel. There were 4 adults and 2 kids in our group and they let us upgrade to a suite for not additional ccost so we could all stay in the same room. The staff was very nice and the hotel was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. I will definately stay a Holiday Inn Express again.

We stayed only one nght in the middle of a road trip. The hotel was very convenient and the location is great. It is very very close to the Cherokee reservation casino. Also, close to McDonalds and gas stations. The front desk staff was helpful. Check in and out was a breeze. breakfast was good and very clean area. We would use this hotel again.
