“Really just below average.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012 via mobile

We stayed at the Clarion for just a short overnight in Oct 2012. Room was nice size, but smelled like cigarettes and old beer. Bathroom was in bad repair, peeling baseboards, paint etc. No conditioner only shampoo ? The air conditioner was noisy. Free breakfast was pretty good.

My mother, brother, and I visited this hotel last week; it was wonderful. Clean and friendly with courteous staff. The restaurant next door "Shiloh" is a wonderful family restaurant, and their food is superb. We would stay there again the next time we're in the area.

Room Tip: Book the first floor so you can be close to the restaurant!

The reviews on this hotel were spilt. Half good half not. We weren't sure what to expect. We arrived at 8:30 pm to a very happy and helpful front desk lady (with a wonderful accent). She was one of the friendliest front desk people I've dealt with in the past. She gave us our room key and suggested Shiloh restaurant next door, but to hurry as they were about to close. Very good and friendly restaurant. We came back and went to our room. When we walked in, our jaw dropped. The room was huge. It was beautifully decorated and clean. We were so pleased. We changed and hit the work out room. Only bad thing about our stay was one of the treadmills were broken (my honey stepped up and took on the elliptical). The work out room was so cool, clean, and again beautifully decorated with sweat towels (nice touch). Time for bed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the pillows, well i wanted to take them home....no worries!! I resisted the urge ;-) Now for breakfast. It was your typical hot hotel breakfast. Nothing special. But the eating area was huge, cool, clean and again, nicely decorated. Time to leave. Check out was fast and easy. The only suggestion, besides fix the treadmill, is get a better air filtration system for the lobby/business center. There is a bar in the hotel and the smoke was pretty thick. Thank you clarion for such a wonderfully unexpected stay!!

hotel is older, ants, crickets, and roaches in room, I did one of the suites with a living room, noise coming from pool, and hall way. needs some major updating or renovating, not sure what they can do with an older hotel. But for the price I was expecting better. Told the gal at check out about the bugs, just oh no i'll tell maintance right away...no compensation since we told them we had ants crawling on us, sitting on the sofa...and its not just that room its the whole hotel, cause the ants were as you went out the doors to the pool also. Wish they would of offered something for my inconvience. Like a 10 percent off, or take off the dog fee...nothing.. I was disappointed in this hotel...Should of stayed at hilton, Will know better next time.

If you need to do laundry and sleep in a comfy bed, this is the place to go. Otherwise, I might suggest another hotel in the area. Check-in takes FOREVER (over an hour). The front desk is not familiar with computer reservations. Hopefully, there can be improvements to the hotel's customer service in the future.

I stay here when I am in the Tulsa area. The location is great. The service is excellent. You would be hard pressed to find anything better at this price point. The restaurant next door is an awesome award winning restaurant in the Tulsa area. Although it is not connected to the hotel, it a closer walk than many in house restaurants in many hotels I have stayed in. The free wifi is good, but sometimes a little slow. Usually the parking is good. The bathrooms are a bit small in some of the rooms, but clean. Beds are comfy. Air conditioner blows cold. Refreshing.

I had 2 of my Great Pyrenees with me on this trip and was amazed at how truly dog friendly this hotel is. My dogs are very well behaved but even so, many times hotels listed as pet-friendly are not actuallypet-friendly. They welcomed us with open arms. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the service is top notch. I highly recommend this hotel. Great value for the price!
