This our 2nd stay at this hotel, and I must say it will be our last!! The beds are the WORST!! Oh my gosh, it is like laying on a piece of wood! I am a Hilton Honors Gold member, and I have never been treated on check-out like I was on this stay. I remembered that we didn't particularly care for this hotel the last time we stayed here, but we stay in so many, that I couldn't really be sure! I am sure now! The arrival was fine, the young man who checked us in was friendly and efficient, he didn't however greet me as a Gold member. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, and very clean. The room was comfortable enough, and we didn't hear any outside or hallway noises. However, there is no sleeping on those beds! Also the shower is so narrow that you hit your elbow on the bars inside. The showerhead is so high up, that you have to kind of search for the water!! It has an adjustable head, but you would have to be 6 feet tall to adjust it! Also, the curtains are too short, and do not cover the window correctly, therefore you get very bright sunshine, very early!! The breakfast was inedible!! The omelet was like chewing on rubber. Could not eat it at all, and to top it off, the flies, and gnats were so thick in the breakfast area, all you did was constantly try to fend them off!! Also the room was unbearably hot! We finally gave up, tossed the food, and decided to check out. The lady checking us out, asked how our stay was. I was very nice, and explained to her that the beds are awful and way to hard. I told her that Hampton Inn's used to have the best beds in the business, but that is no longer the case. Her answer...oh I'm sorry, we must be getting our mattresses from a different supplier. Then I preceded to tell her about our breakfast experience, and all she could say was "Oh." Now my theory is, if you are really not interested in knowing how our stay was, please don't ask me!!!! Your non-caring attitude, is rude and condescending!!! It is very unprofessional and really poor customer service. We will be staying the Hilton Garden Inn on future visits to Bartlesville.
