My husband and I stayed here for one night. Check in was fast. They gave us a two dollar gift to use in the snack bar. The lobby is very nice, then right off it is the breakfast room. They keep tea bags out all the time so I took a couple to the room to make hot tea.
Room was very nice. We had a king size bed. Room had a table, sofa, desk and nice tv.
Micro and fridge were also in room. Bathroom is nice size. Plenty of towels.
Bed was very comfortable, it had a weird mattress pad on it though. You could hear it when you sit on it. Sounded like it had some plastic in it. But didn't bother you once you laid on it.
I was very disappointed in the free breakfast this time. This is one of the reasons we stayed there because HIE has one of the best free breakfast for a hotel. When I got down there a little after 9:00am there wasn't much out to eat. They had their egg omelets which I usually like but these had been there for quite sometime. I took one but could hardly cut into it. There was no milk in the fridge. They had yogurt. AND they DID NOT have their nice warm cinnamon rolls they all have. I ask the lady working there if she was going to put some out and I was told they didn't even have any in stock.
If the breakfast had been a good one I would say this is a great hotel to stay in. Most people might think why is she complaining about the breakfast but if you are offered this it should be up to par. I have stayed at a lot of HIE while traveling with my husband and I have to rely on this for breakfast because he leaves to go to work and that maybe the only thing to eat till late in the day.
They had a workout room with 2 treadmills and etc. Sorry I didn't have the time to use it.
Overall this is a nice hotel. There is a mall that is walking distance from the hotel.
