My sister was in town and I was looking for some place new and special. The Registry Bistro fit the bill. We visited the Friday after Thanksgiving at 4:30. We were told that serving for dinner began at 5:00, although the bar was open. The hostess said she would check to see if we could be seated early. We were seated immediately and given a tour of the menu by our server. He suggested his favorites and let us know that the pot pies would not be available for a little while. We had an appetizer of oysters. I had the grilled sturgeon,my spouse had the ahi tuna, and my sister had the steel cut risotto and mushrooms. All were excellent. We had a great chardonnay with our dinner from the wine list. The coffee was full bodied..flavorful. Our service was top notch, very attentive. Of course the architecture inside the dining room with its high ceilings, tasteful accents, and massive pillars made for an interesting atmosphere in which to experience the fine food and service. We will return.
