“Great way to spend a day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

Sure there are bigger museums in the world, but I have never experienced a staff as friendly and knowledgeable as this one! Great for those that want to experience a museum but not travel too far or deal with huge crowds etc.

Will be back over and over again.

“Best of the Best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

I have been to Art Museums in large cities like Chicago, New York, LA, but the Toledo Museum of Art is the best! Their collection is huge - every era, hundreds of artists, paintings, sculptures, glass, ancient archives - something that everyone in your group will enjoy. You must also walk the grounds for awesome architecture and sculptures as well as go across the street to the glass pavilion. Drive by at night for an awesome view! Its free and close to downtown for lunch at the Maumee Brewing Company!

“This Museum has something for eveyone...and it's free!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

I usually need a little interactive type exhibits to peak my interest at Musuems but this one is perfect just the way it is. The art itself is absolutely incredible! It seems like every famous artist is represented here. You can take your time and go at your own pace. The Musuem is clean and well laid out. The staff is friendly an helpful without being stuffy. Besure to catch a glimpse of the glass pavilion if you have time.

“If you love art it's a must do!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013 via mobile

The Toledo Museum of Art is full of pieces from some of the most famous artists: Monet, Picasso, etc. With the only cost being parking (around $5) you cannot miss this destination. The museum also offers wonderful classes for artists of all ages. Free classes for children on Tues and Thurs from 10am-2pm. We love the museum!
