Stayed at this Hampton Inn for the umpteinth time while dropping off one of our children at Cedarville Univ. We started staying at the hotel in 2001 and have stayed with it since. The place is consistent in that the service is good, though sometimes limited. The folks working the desk always seem to be willing to please and the breakfast hostess is wonderful. The hotel is convenient in that it is right off I-70, an easy 10 miles to Cedarville, and close to several decent chain restaurants. Cracker Barrel and Bob Evens are easy walks. And its clean - the rooms, bathrooms, lobby, etc always are clean. They have a decent size indoor pool and hot tub. And, they give Cedarville parents a break on the rates - just ask! Be sure to plan your reservations well in advance for Cedarville drop-off. pick-up, graduation, and lil-sibs weekends.

All in all a nice, friendly, affordable, and usually quiet place to stay.

There's really not a whole lot to choose from here but of the known commodities this is probably as good as it gets. It seems to be a little older of a property. The entire lobby smells like chlorine constantly due to the location of the indoor pool (which makes breakfast more of a take out kind of option for me). The rooms are standard, either overlooking a Bob Evans Parking lot or a Cracker Barrell parking lot.
However, it's clean and the staff was very hospitable over my week there. Nothing to write home about but a decent option.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback regarding your past stay at our property. I do wish sometimes that we were in a different location because the views are definitely not the most picturesque.

We are currently working with a local vendor on trying to reduce the chlorine smell in our lobby/breakfast area. Sometimes I forget what that smells like because after you have worked here long enough, you do not smell it anymore.

We appreciate the kind words you have for the hotels cleanliness and for our staff. We take pride in making each guest stay enjoyable and trying to make it memorable. What could we do in the future to make your stay something “to write home about”? Please contact me with any suggestions to help improve on our guest experience.

This is the 3rd time that we have stayed at this Hampton Inn. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms and the lobby are very clean and neat. A great breakfast is included in the room rate. It is apparent that the staff here takes pride in their hotel.

For other Cedarville University parents who might find this review helpful, just remember that for graduation weekend, the 1st Saturday in May, we sell out a year in advance so please call early to make your hotel reservations.

We stayed here on our road trip out to north carolina and overall had a very good experience. The breakfast was good and had a wide variety of food. The beds were soft and very comfy to sleep on. The decor in the building seemed up to date and current with todays trends. The only real downside were the towels. Several had stains on them. One had lipstick and the other had god knows what on it so we didn't use either. The rest of them seemed to just be thrown under the counter so were questioning if they had even been washed at all or just refolded. Other then that a very positive experience and we would stay here again.

This place is typical of Hampton Inns - clean and comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff - not just the front desk, but anyone you encounter is warm and nice. This location has a nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. The breakfast is ok - lots of choices. The hot items are marginal in taste, but the new waffle maker is great.

We had an issue of forgetting something and not realizing it until we were a couple of states away. The front desk was very helpful in looking for our item and working with us to help us get it back.

I will definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to friends.
