“Not unsafe, but otherwise very poor.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013 via mobile

Some staff (owners?) speak english pretty well. Rooms are outdated and uncomfortable. rooms are only a few feet from freeway, but not near an exit. Broken tub and sink fixtures. No ventilalation in bathroom. Very old bed and bedding. Not very clean, but no bugs noticed. Poor tv. Elevator, fridge, and microwave worked. Spent $50 per night, which seemed cheap for location. Bring your own Lysol. No breakfast, but received a 20% discount at nearby ihop when they saw my room key.

Don't be fooled by the "good price" "got the job done" comments. Trust me, you do NOT want to sleep here unless you were raised and are currently living in unsavory conditions. It was dirty and smelled bad. Mold, dirt and hair everywhere. The only thing missing were roaches & they were probably hiding.

We checked into the hotel about 3 o'clock. My wife couldn't even stand to go in the bathroom. There was mold in the bathtub, pink mold, and the coat rack was half pulled out of the wall so we couldn't hang our clothes. The main room was dark, dirty and stained. It was in need of a remodel. We checked the bed for bed bugs just because the condition of the room suggested that they might exist. After going to get a bite to eat, we returned and picked up our stuff and gave the keys back. We didn't even ask for a refund. The negative comments we later read about the hotel are pretty accurate. We had a nice stay at a different hotel down the road.

Rooms have cold A/C, fridge w/ a small freezer box and microwave. Very convenient location, near fwy and shopping mall. TV has all of the most popular cable channels. Staff is very friendly. Bed and pillows are nice. Shower is a bath/shower combo. Towels and sheets were fresh and clean. They even give you shampoo (unlike Motel 6) I have stayed in hotels all around the MidWest and this hotel is great for the price. It is not a 5 star hotel though, if you want valet parking a concierge and room service, then go to the Marriott and pay $175 + a night, but if your like me and like to get a good value, then this may be the place for you. I didn't try out the free continental breakfast since i brought my own.

Room Tip: If you want sun to come in through the window then you will want to stay in the front of the hotel...

Hands down the nastiest hotel we've ever stayed. The hallway to the check in desk should have been a signal. We have side-by-side rooms. Room 221 WREAKS like a boarded up musty hole. Room 219 has a chair by the window with a stain on the seat that is, God knows what. The beds shift as soon as you sit down as if they're sitting on a porch swing. There are dents in our door, cracks in the wall...if we weren't worn out from taking the children to the Lego Fest today and then hours at IKEA...we would leave. This place is just disgusting! We do a lot of weekend traveling to small towns and stay at all Choice Privilege hotels and this is the first time we've been disappointed.

Room Tip: DO NOT stay here! That's the tip I'll give you to help choose a good room.

This hotel needs to be condemended. my family and I was visiting Ohio, and we booked this hotel on the internet. However, When we arrived there were numerous amount of problems. The sheets looked as if they had not been changed in 2 years, the bathroom was horrible and to top it off there was a terrible smell of mold and mildew in the room. We decided right then that we were not going to stay in this room. I guess the old saying is true"YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR". I would not recommend this motel to anyone who truly cares about their health. I believe the health department needs to condeme this motel!

This is by far the most disgusting place i have ever stayed in. Me and my family arrived at the motel around midnight and the whole family was exhausted. The bathroom toilet seat had pubic hair on it when we arrived. the bath tub probably has not been cleaned in months, the soap scum build up was enough to make me sick. after further inspection of the room we discovered layers and layers of filth behinf the night stand between the beds, there was ahes, cig butts, hair wads, empty coke bottles, just nastiness!! The bed sheets looked as if they had not been changed! The mattress had stains all over it and the blankets had burn holes all over them. The air conditioning did not work and they have no high speed internet!! When i was checking out the man a few rooms down found a used condom behind the nightstand along with what he called "jelly" smeared all over the carpet. i would not recommend this room to a dog!! When i conplained to managment, which live in a room attached to the office, i was told that the cleaning crew had only been there for a month or so, was still in training, and that the former crew were from Russia and Mexico...like that matters. This place is beyond nasty... DO NOT STAY HERE!! the health department needs to shut this place down and i will be contacting them!
