“Traditional Dod”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

I had a traditional dog with sauerkraut, onions and chile. I also had onion rings and unsweetened Tea. My wife had the same dog no chile, but hash browns w/mustard . It was great the taste was just like being down in NY city on the street. By the market ,great taste . Thanks Doc!

“Great food, great company”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

This little spot offers a great twist on a standard - they offer deep-fried "New Jersey style" hot dogs. They're a little bigger than a standard dog, and it's a good thing, 'cause they're yummy! The shoestring fries are a perfect complement. We sat at the bar during both visits and the staff and other patrons were great company.

“70 beers to try”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

Great food! We tried the fried chili cheese hot dog....not bad! Fries were very good. They have over 70 beers to try. Ice cream parlor in the back, not sure if its the same place or not.

“Great Exprience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

We drove a few hours north for a day swimming at East Harbor Park. We decided to stop somewhere in Sandusky for dinner that we'd never been before. This restaurant came up on another travel guide sit that we used. It had more positive reviews on that site. One piece of advice on the other site was to try the pulled pork topped nachos appetizer. They really were more like homemade potato chips. They were extremely yummy. They were topped with pulled pork, blue cheese, and a few other things.

Our waitress was named Katie. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Our drinks were always full. She made sure to check back. We told her it was our first time there, so she was helpful with making sure we liked the food and making suggestions.

I had the kielbasi sandwich with the pretzel bun. It was delicious! My husband had the Guiness Brat. He let me taste. You could taste the Guiness in it. It was very good. His onion rings were also delicious and obviously fresh and home made and not the frozen crap you get in some places.

The only caveat is that it was a little pricey.
I know we'll go back again. The service and food were outstanding.

“Just OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Staff was friendly, food was just OK, nothing horrible, just not memorable. Milkshake was good, but reminded me of nestle quick in milk with an attempt to make it a shake.
