First...they told us a price that was very affordable for us, but almost refused to back (probably a mistake on their part they were trying to cover). When we arrived, we were supposed to have a room with 2 double beds and a pull out bed, which originally we were not given and had to request another room. The cleanliness of the room we received was terrible. There were a few beer bottle tops left from the previous tennants, a smashed spider on the wall and the floor of the shower had dirty foot prints. The beds were very uncomfortable and we all considered sleeping on the floor because of that situation. The continental breakfast consisted of either toast, english muffin, a few donuts or cereal..with a choice of coffee, orange juice or water...not much selection there. TO TOP IT ALL OFF---we reserved the room for 2 nights and THEY DID NOT CLEAN THE ROOM BETWEEN THE 2 NIGHTS!!!??? After seeing the uncleaned room before our second nights stay, we did go to the front desk and they couldn't help us because the cleaning crew was gone, just gave us a few towels and wash cloths. Also...I have never seen a motel that had "NO PARKING" signs on the black top IN FRONT OF THE ROOMS, you have to park about 30 feet from your room if you are on the first floor, further if you have a room on the second floor. Not very pleasant if you have a lot of luggage to lug in. After complaining and dealing with a kind of arrogant manager...they did give us $10 back, but even if the total price had been refunded....we still would never even consider staying there again. I can say it was the worst motel experience we have ever had.
