PRO'S: The location is within 5 minutes of Cedar Point so that is good
CON'S: The main rail line (double tracks) is right across the two lane road and long speeding trains run past several times an hour, 24 hours a day. It is noisy and you will feel the building shake from the vibration. So if you stay here get a room at the back of the property or on the sides. It might be quieter and may have less vibration but I doubt it.
I reserved a non-smoking room and when I checked in I was given a smoking room even though the clerk said it wasn't. Some of the doors have NON SMOKING ROOM signs on the outside of them and others don't. I was given another room which still had no non smoking sign on it but wasn't near as bad as the first. The room was clean, had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, safe but no key, iron and ironing board and hair dryer. The king size bed looked like it was 100 years old and definitely had seen some use as it was sunken in the middle. It was not to bad though. I did not mention it to the staff. I spent the night on it and had a good nights sleep. The next day I went to the park and when I returned they had replaced the entire bed with new mattress and box springs. The old one was more comfortable but at least they were doing some refurb in the hotel. This is a typical hotel you would expect to find in a beach area and such were the younger crowd (college students) stays because its cheap and they don't care how they leave it.
