We are visiting Cedar Point theme park. Amidst the chains is this nice place at the harbor. I am a food snob, so the most I expected was adequate food that wasn't fried. We went right before closing and were the only people inside. They have a decent wine list by the glass and full bar. The bread basket was consumed immediately, both the multigrain wheat bread and the french bread, with regular and kalamata olive butter.
The watercress and pear salad was amazing. Everything was super fresh and the ingredients were well balanced. The blacked halibut was also delicious, although I did not try the mango/pineapple salsa. Rice was good. The tenderloin was cooked perfectly, tender, and had nice flavor. It came with vegetables and gouda mashed potatoes which were also quite good. I wish I ad room for dessert.
Nice service with suggestions and friendliness.
Total cost with generous tip, around $105. Although more than you wan to pay for every meal at a theme park, if you need a break from unhealthy food, this is the place.
