“Good place for overnight off of Route 70”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2009

Spent 1 night at this hotel on the drive to my in-laws for Thanksgiving. The hotel is located just off of Route 70 Exit 218. Check in and check out were quick and easy. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, though the furniture looked somewhat worn, to be expected for a place charging $54/night. Complimentary breakfast was simple - bagels, doughnuts, cereal, and juice - but perfectly adequate. Across the street there is a Walmart, Lowes, and several fast food restaurants.
The hotel is by no means luxurious, nor would I want to spend an extended period of time there, but as a place to rest during a long drive, it was perfectly adequate. Free Wireless and the fact that the hotel allowed us to bring our dog were big Pluses.

I would suggest staying away from this motel unless you like dirt and grim!! Yeah the $$ is great but you definitely get what you pay for. Unfortunately, all of the rooms in the nicer national chains were sold out. Internet connection was terrible!!!

Stopped here on the way through OH on a long drive. The hotel was sufficient and was excellent access to I-70 and the nearby shopping mall and restaurants (and there was a Cabelas store up the interstate). The room was 10 bucks more than the Red Roof just up the hill, and while I haven't stayed there, this place was nothing special. Room was bigger, but loud, and the heat wasn't great. Hey, you get what you pay for. Breakfast was decent.

I had to stop here over night on a massive drive across the country. It fitted the bill just right. I wanted someplace cheap, took pets and close to the highway and clean. Ya know, you don't get a lot of amenities in cheap hotels but frankly, I got far more than what I expected for $45 per night. The bathrooms looked like they had recently been redone. My room had a little microwave and fridge which I needed. Rooms were fairly large. It was pretty quiet too. The only complaint I can think of was that the cable was a bit off (not getting all the channels they said they should be). Oh and the breakfast wasn't much more than packaged donuts and coffee but there's a little Denny's literally right across the parking lot if you are that in need. There are lots of shops and other restaurants right around there. I worked out great for me so hope you find it so as well.

A cross-country trip introduced me to many Super 8 motels, which I stayed in because of the price. This one was typical. It had all the usual stuff, but no microwave or refrigerator, which for the price I didn't expect anyway. It had a newer tub, but, as in most places, no soap dish nor grab bar in the shower. At my age I'd like the security of a grab bar. I'm sure it offered a continental breakfast, but it was not outstanding enough to remember it.

My mattress was covered with a sheet only (no mattress cover) there was graffiti on the walls of our hallway covered with paint that did not do the job of hiding it. The staff were very kind however. Super 8 does not appear to care much about this property.
