“Hit and miss on bake goods”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2009

Don't expect an actual restaurant. This is a high end baking and cooking supply store with a small bakery in the back. The baked good are shipped in from the main store in Toledo, Oh.

The wedding cake slices and the specialty cookies are awesome. If you like walnuts you have to try the Chinese cookies. They're decorating skills is outstanding as you'll see from the designed items. But the cupcakes and sugar cookies are straight cake mixes and canned frosting, not very flavorful.

The overall value is low because every baked good is about a buck more then any of the other local bakeries. The equipment they sell is about 25-50% more expensive then the local mega-marts. However they do stock a look of hard-to-find items. This is nice when you need pink pearl candies for a sweet 16 party in a hurry.

In conclusion, expect a small hometown shop thats great for certain specialty items but expect everything to be expensive.
