Good restaurant for enjoyable food and you'll like the prices. A nice steak special on Mon, Tue & Wed, Porterhose/T-Bone and the trimmings for $14.95

“Solid experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

We have been to this Brown Derby a few of times and the experience has always been the same. It is lovely (newly remodeled and 1000x nicer/classier than the old Roadhouse that it replaced), the people have been friendly and helpful, the meals have always been good (last time I had the crispy chicken and my husband had a steak)... the food was excellent..

I would easily give it 5 stars except for:
It needs at least ONE less-expensive hamburger... the more under $10 dollar hamburgers you have on a menu the more people will come to your restaurant.
It needs at least one steak salad.. (when we were there this was not on the menu)..
It needs a few items on the menu that make it NOT a once a year place (because for the average-joe it is pricey. We get that they want to keep the clientele on the up-side...but it also keeps the average joes (many of whom live very close to this restaurant ) from frequenting it more often.
4 Stars is a great rating - they have done a marvelous job... but if they want to keep it packed... add a non-grass-fed beef burger to them menu... and see it fill up.

“Excellent steak and potato.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

The filet was perfectly cooked. They did so without even butter flying the steak which most restaurants have to do for medium well. The bake potato was melt in your mouth tasty. The restaurant was conveniently located next door to my hotel. The only moderately disappointing thing was the rolls. They were a little too floury. Even the water was good :-)

“A fantastic restaurant for the rehearsal dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2012

After planning this special night with Linda, for 45 family and friends of the bride and groom, the evening couldn't have been more memorable, thanks to Parry Girves and his servers, Lara and Emily. Our son and his bride got married the next afternoon, and had great memories from the rehearsal dinner. The service was outstanding, the dinner selections were delivered exactly as ordered and the staff was very conscientious and caring. An outstanding dining experience for a reasonable price.
