We recently had a trip to Dakotas. I had never been there before but those I dined with had. First off, I will say the waitress we had was wonderful. She was pleasant, helpful, and on top of everything... but that's kinda where the good stopped.
-- We all ordered soup as an appetizer. Two french onion soups and a clam chowder. The french onion came out cold and the clam chowder was basically potato soup. I counted exactly 2 pieces of clam in it.
-- My husband ordered the caprese salad... the traditional salad apparently in this restaurant has iceberg lettuce? The cheese tasted like it was about 3 months old. AND I LOVE CHEESE.
-- I ordered the lobster quesadilla for dinner.I LOVE lobster and quesdillas... and I can honestly say this is the worst thing I may have eaten in my 28 years of life. The lobster literally looked like someone had previously chewed it and spit it back onto the tortilla...
-- My mother in laws calamari she said and I quote "tasted like a fish stick." There was so much batter on it it literally tasted like a fish stick.
-- My positive.... the Great Lakes Christmas Ale was wonderful and cold!
I'm hoping this is just a fluke!
