“A Perfect Anniversary Weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

We were looking for a place to celebrate our 5th Wedding Anniversary weekend. We found everything we could have wanted in the Georgian Manner. The atmosphere and hospitality were unsurpassed in my experience. Debbies breakfasts were wonderful and she was willing to share the recipe for one of our favorite dishes.

It is a perfect jumping off point if you want to explore the Hocking Hills Region. If you are looking to relax, you can sit on the veranda overlooking Lake Logan, sip your favorite beverage and watch the swans, geese, ducks, herons.....

To us it was the perfact balance of activities and relaxation. Exactly what we were looking to find to celebrate our Anniversary..

Room Tip: We stayed in the Queen Mary "Suite." I would definitely go with the suite for the privat...

My now fiancé took me here as a surprise for our two year anniversary. BJ was so welcoming! We had a wonderful first afternoon together, enjoying the beautiful view, then later that night BJ and my fiancé set up everything for his proposal! BJ took pictures of it and was genuinely happy for us. The next morning Debbie prepared us a a delicious breakfast! Overall the trip was one to remember forever! We will definitely be coming back, hopefully this winter!

A Georgian Manner is a beautiful B&B perched on a hill over looking Lake Logan. It's tranquil setting was idyllic and close to all the points of interests in Hocking Hills State Park. We were so taken with it's peaceful, comfortable setting that we ordered dinner 'to go' from nearby restaurants both nights and brought it back to the B&B so we could sit on the front porch and eat while watching the bird life on the lake.

The owner, BJ, was gracious and welcoming and instantly made us feel like we had arrived at our 'home away from home'. We'll be back, hopefully sooner than later.

I saw this B&B on my search and I fell in love with the photos. But when you experience the ambiance of the B&B there are no words to describe. We even took their canoe out on the lake and had a nice serene time there. We had the whole house to utilize as our own and to take in the collections that were around. Sitting on the front porch while waiting for the breakfast and watching the fog lift from the lake while sipping tea felt so refreshing. It is a wonderful place for couples to reunite.

Room Tip: If you want the jacuzzi, get the honeymoon suite. The upstairs room has a balcony to sit out on.

We were celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary. The room was spacious and had all we needed. The view was beautiful and the quiet natural surroundings were just what we needed to get away. They made us feel like king and queen for the day. Would stay again and again!

What a great place to stay and a great home base for seeing the Hocking Hills. Every inch of the B&B is decorated with an amazing amount of charm and sophistication. BJ the owner is a great person to chat with about the property and the region. Breakfast was great as well. I highly recommend to any and all to stay at this B&B!

This B&B is amazing! The bedrooms are gorgeous and really comfortable. The entire is house is breathtaking. BJ did an absolutely stunning remodel...we were just amazing he managed to take ONLY 7 years to do it! (Trust me, if you see the original pictures, you will understand). It was a great find. We went there for our first anniversary and were both so grateful by just the first evening that that was where we decided to go. Our appreciation just continued to grow as we stayed for the following night as well. BJ, the owner, is an incredibly personable fellow. He knows so much about the area, not just his house, but the entire Hocking Hills. He truly wants you to feel at home and comfortable and makes sure you do, but he's not overbearing. He makes sure you have what you need and what (and more!) and then lets you be to enjoy yourself, leaving his number if you have any needs. He's there for a great conversation and gives great suggestions about what to do with your time there. You can tell they're not just rote suggestions, too, because he gives different suggestions to different couples, depending upon what he thinks they'd like in the area. Debbie is the cook and serves an amazing breakfast! You're located close to a lot of different things and can easily make it to some of the Hocking Hills most breathtaking sights, but even if you never left the B&B, the view is great! There are swans, ducks, and herons on the lake. The atmosphere is wonderful. I would definitely recommend it as a romantic getaway for anyone. It's great that for just a little extra, you can rent any of the rooms as suites. I'm looking forward to going back in the winter! Also, if you like the civil war, this place is a must. The TV room is also a civil war library!

Room Tip: I would suggest paying the little extra for the suite if you're there for a romantic getaway. Th...
