We were looking for a place to have a small weekend wedding and honeymoon hocking hills came up along with several choices for wedding moons. We decided to give a Georgia Manor a chance and are glad we did. The wedding service provided by Bj exceeded anything we could have hoped. His reading for our ceremony could not have been topped. The photos turned out great just like our weekend getaway. We plan on a return trip for our anniversary with family next time renting the entire house. The breakfast was great just felt bad that we couldn't eat it all...... we would highly recommend a Georgian manner for a wedding and a bed and breakfast . My husband and I booked this B & B last minute for The Old Man's Cave Winter Hike. Luckily, they had an opening in a beautiful suite. The house is a large, beautiful B & B. The owner does not live there, so the guests have use of the entire home. It is filled with beautiful antiques and furnishings. The honeymoon suite seems to be the most private. It is located in a wing of the home and is huge! It has a whirlpool tub and TV in the suite. The other 2 suites upstairs do not have TVs in the suite, but there is a TV in the TV room downstairs. Donna is a very gracious and wonderful hostess! Her homecooked breakfasts were delicious!! We are looking forward to our next visit to Hocking Hills!!!

We stayed in the Honeymoon suite at the Georgian Manner to celebrate our anniversary. The house really is in a stunning location--on a small hill, overlooking the large lake that is filled with swans, ducks, and other wildlife. The manner itself has a lot of charm, but still has modern amenities like a jacuzzi tub in our honeymoon suite. Our room also had a private patio overlooking the lake, which was a really nice touch. The breakfast was family style in the morning (we ate together with 2 other couples), and there was scrambled eggs, sausage, homemade muffins, and delicious biscuits. The owner was very willing to give us recommendations about things to do, and because we brought our bikes, he told us about a nice 30 mile bike ride from Nelsonville to Athens which we decided to try out and really enjoyed. The typical Hocking Hills attractions (Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls, etc) are about a 15-20 minute drive from the house, so we did some hiking there as well. There are a couple restaurants that are close to the manner, including Millstone BBQ and La Cascada Mexican restaurant, but nothing really within walking distance. We at at Millstone BBQ and enjoyed it, although I might recommend just getting takeout and bringing it back to the manner to take advantage of the beautiful setting. Overall, I definitely recommend this bed and breakfast as a peaceful, romantic, and very comfortable place to stay in the Hocking Hills area.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Manner. The house and grounds are lovely and the breakfast was fresh and delicious with a lot of variety. Not to mention our host B.J.--he is a delight. We are glad we chose this B&B over a cabin stay for our trip to the Hocking Hills. Lots of extras!
