Absolute perfection! Pristine! We stayed in the Briarwood Cabin and it was absolutely immaculate! Never in over 30 years of traveling have we found a place to stay as immaculate as this. All details are thought of. Everything you could possibly need is there. We couldn't believe our eyes when we first walked into the cabin. The hot tub is equally as clean & perfect. If you're looking for seclusion, comfort & pristine lodging near Hocking Hills State Park, this is the place to stay. Suffice it say that I consider tripadvisor to be my travel bible but have never posted a review. This is the first. This place is so incredible that it demands appropriate recognition.

We stayed in Briarwood at Sunrise Log Cabins for our anniversary this year and it was exactly what we were looking for. The owners were very kind and helpful as we decided how to spend our time there. We cooked out one night on the grill and also made a full breakfast in the kitchen. We most enjoyed the hot tub and roasting marshmellows in our fire pit outside. We also drove to see Tecumseh and went hiking at Conkles Hollow-it was the perfect location and balance of relaxation, fun, exercise and beautiful romantic nature!

As other reviews have said - they thought of everything. The cabin was gorgeous inside and very clean.
Leftover firewood was available for us (free, although normally you have to pay $4 which is fine).
My only complaint is the bed - but I am a VERY picky bed sleeper. My fiance' fell right asleep without any trouble whatsoever.
The dollar/journal games they have here is hilarious.
This was our second time at the Hills. The first time we stayed at Glen Laurel. That place was extremely expensive, but you got what you paid for....here at the Sunrise, you get much MORE than what you pay for. So there's that!!
Will definitely come back.

Have been to Hocking Hills many times, but this past weekend was our first stay at Sunrise Log Cabins. We stayed at the Lincoln Log cabin which can accommodate 4 people. This cabin is very private, quiet, and extremely clean. We made full use of the hot tub, (also very clean) grill, fire pit, and kitchen. Enjoyed every minute, will be back again! Definitely check these cabins out and consider these for your next stay!
