We stayed in a cabin while visiting Hocking Hills and it was one of the most relaxing, laid-back, trips that I had ever been on.
We most have picked a great time of the year to go (late May), because there were not that many people around at all. While staying in the cabin, I think that we were the only people around for 5 miles. Everything was so quiet and the weather happened to be just perfect for taking hikes in the woods and having campfires in the evening. Our cabin even had a pool table and a hot tub for some late night fun or morning relaxation.
Overall, this was a fantastic trip, but probably better suited for couples and not families as there wasn't a whole lot to keep young kids entertained for long periods of time.
