Pro's : Nice camp store, clean, friendly staff. many activities to do such as go carts, basketball, arcade, water slides, Carousel for small children and mini golf.
CONS : They charge for everything. They charge for use of the lake (which smells like sewage), they charge to go down their water slides as well. I think the pedal boats are from the late 70's to early 80"s. The activities can get expensive quick and the camp store prices are outrageous. The mini golf was a few holes on a flat surface , the whole thing could be set on a basketball court.
As for the campground, We went on a weekend and it was off the hook ! It was extremely busy, loud and obnoxious way into the night, there are hundreds of permanent camp sites and they all are allowed to have golf carts, well into the night it was a constant flow of golf carts all lit up with led lights racing down the streets around our campsite with radios blaring, They pack you in like sardines at the campsites, there were so many people everywhere getting drunk it was crazy. Kids were running everywhere all over our campsite and wherever else they wanted. After dark, many of the camp sites around us seemed to get louder and people were hanging it out pissing wherever they wanted. There is only one bath/shower house for about 200 camp sites unless you want to use one of two port a potty's set up (one of which the locking latch was broken) The showers had a push button control that only stayed on for a few seconds, you didn't know if you were going to be hit with burning hot water or cold water every time you hit the button, once done, you have to step out of the shower in front of everyone to dry off and get dressed.(no privacy) It is obvious that the owner has spared no expense on amenities that make him money but, very little expense on making campers comfortable. There is no cell phone service out there so it's not like you can call anybody if you have a problem, security was almost no existent after dark, we drove through the campground security post 3 times without being stopped because it wasn't being manned. While we were there, they did nothing to quiet the the loud groups you could hear all over the grounds. I believe this is a popular hang out for Southern Ohio folks that like to gather and party on the weekends at a place where they can just turn their kids lose. I can name at least 10 campgrounds in Ohio that have nice lakes, crystal clear pools and planned family activities for families that I have had much better experiences at . BTW..They have WI Fi service out there but, they charge you for that as well, their network is not secure and you have to enter your credit card info to get service..
