“Casual lunch spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

We were treated very well at lunch in what could be described as a highly informal setting.
Smoothies, tacos and a cubano were all tasty and well received. Look around for posted specials that do not appear on the menu. A very nice experience overall.

“New little restaurant in Lakewood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

I saw a groupon for this restaurant a few months ago and decided to check it out. The cafe had a nice decor and they had local artists painting on display for purchase. Seating was comfy and music selection was good other people around me commented on that. I ordered the ropa viejo dinner, barbacoa tacos and rice and black bean tacos. The ropa Viejo was very good and the tacos came with tortilla chips so I should have ordered a sideof salsa or guacamole for them. I did not see any chicken on the menu unless I overlooked it. The taco options were barbacoa, pulled pork, broccoli slaw and rice and beans. I ordered a smoothie mango lime strawberry I believe ...it was too tart. The menu is not that large they also offer smoothie's, coffee and no alcohol but it's byob. Other than that the food was good they need to stay
open until at least 8:30 during the week though..they have later hours on the weekend.
