Throughout its long history operating at various Kent locations, Wild Goats has retained its casual and welcoming atmosphere. service is prompt and dependable, and the omelets are delish.

“Popular, and for good reason”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2011

There is almost always a wait for a table here, mostly because everyone and their brother loves this place. When you look around, you kind of wish they would expand or open a second location...but if it meant the quality or atmosphere would change, I can wait a few minutes for a table.

The food here is different - much more health conscious than other places in Kent. The prices are somewhat high, but part of that comes from what they use: gouda, hummus, etc.

The service has always been pretty good, and you can tell the wait staff work their tails off to make sure you feel attended too.

“Enjoyed Every Bite”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2011

Out of 5 of us only 1 did not enjoy her corned beef hash, said the meat had too much fat.
The rest of us ate every morsel on our plates; 1 had breakfast and 3 had lunch.
We will return when we go to Kent to visit our granddaughter.

“customer is not always right; poor customer service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2011

If you accidentally use an expired coupon here, even if you give it to them before you order and ask if it's okay, they will tell you it's okay, bring the food, and then stick you with the full price when they bring the bill. Also, according to management, "this policy won't change."

They will accuse customers of intentionally tearing off the expiration date of a coupon, even though they don't check the coupon until an order is processed so that they can, in turn, rip the customer off with the full price. Accusing customers of unethical practice seems inappropriate. If missing expiration dates is such a problem, I suggest perforated edges on coupons or placing the exp. date away from the coupon's edge.

Management doesn't "understand why anyone would make a big deal over a few dollars", yet they themselves, as a business, care more about making a few dollars than treating customers well. Further, they defend their philosophy in doing this with, "we're barely scraping by as it is."

I imagine the biggest reason they're barely scraping by is that their poor management and terrible customer service leads to a disenchanted customer base.

Also, their hash-browns are undercooked.

“Great healthy food in casual atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2011

Great breakfast and lunch food. All homeade and extra special. They have several vegetarian options as well. The coffee is wonderful and try it with an "over the top" cinnamon bun! The service is prompt and casual. The veggie burger is awesome and my husband's favorite is the Ruben. Where else can you get Ants on a log.....it will take you back to childhood. This restaurant is truely a winner.
