“Great Food !!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013

We actually stumbled on this quaint little local restaurant that used to be an old gas station. Can't say enough good things about the food and delicious selection of desserts. Peanut butter pie was to die for. A little off the beaten path, but worth finding.

“Really like the place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

Not many of these places left, truly a great place to take the family and don't have to worry about the kids or your vehicle being broken in to. Don't hesitate, when wanting a great meal, visit Spearmans!! Love the little upgrades they also have made to the dinning area.

“Rate the food, not the "nostalgia"”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

Not sure what everyone is raving about. I've eaten here probably 5 times this summer, trying to get the same experience. Regular breakfast is fine(but small portions---only two eggs and small pieces of bacon), and a bit pricey in comparison to even diners in the Cleveland/Akron area. Have had lunch and dinner and it really tastes like frozen, sodium filled meats and not even sure they are "real" mashed potatoes. I guess ok overall, but nothing special. Too many people get caught up in the "oh, it's an old gas stations, etc. ----- Even their gas was overpriced. Found it 20 cents cheaper per gallon 3 miles up the road at Apple Valley. (still cheaper if you drove further to Mt Vernon)

“Charming atmosphere, good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013 via mobile

Tiny restaurant in a former gas station, with super friendly staff. Large menu makes choosing difficult. Lake perch was mild and crispy, husbands pork and sauerkraut was fall-apart tender. Save room for dessert...also lots of choices. Homemade rhubarb pie could have used more fruit, but still delicious. We'll be back!

“Absolutely awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013 via mobile

This little place in the middle of a little town called millwood is a jewel. I will say this is a place you have to try. I do not think anything could be bad. The baked pork chop was the best I have ever had. The amount of food is huge so if you are not full when you leave you have a problem. The price is not close to matching the food. The service was excellent and I my only complaint was not having room for the dessert Had to get it to go.
