I was introduced to this place ten years ago by a friend who used to live in the neighborhood.
Roadhouse Wings & Grill is in a strip mall near the corner of Nike Dr & Hilliard-Rome Rd. An unassuming little mom-and-pop spot that offers an interesting mix of bar-food fried and sandwich fare. You will LOVE their wings.
They serve all the usual wings, and like some of the big chains, you select whether you want bone-in or boneless, choose a sauce, and choose a temperature. Their wings are deep-fried, not baked, and have a very nice crunchy/crisp exterior texture, then spun in a rich sauce.
The interior is clean and simple, about 20 mc-restaurant style porcelain tables, plus TVs playing all the sports channels hanging from the ceiling, visible from any seat in the house. A good selection of beer and soft drinks. This is strip mall dining at its finest, though -- but never a bad wing comes out of this place.
I've never really sampled anything BUT wings, but they do serve other stuff (like subs and burgers). Everything is cooked to order and comes out steaming hot. My favorite is the classic Buffalo flavor, hot. Other favorites include the Lemon Pepper medium and the Garlic medium heat. My wife's favorite is the boneless variation of their Teriyaki wings (mild).
Hands down, this is my favorite Buffalo wings joint in the greater Columbus area, much better than the big chains like B-dubs, Roosters or Hooters. Although it comes without the eye candy, the quality and flavor of their food more than makes up for it.
