“Heavenly Bliss!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2010

Accommodation was absolutely superb, with top quality fixtures and fittings, extremely clean, very comfortable bed, luxurious recliner lounge, yummy breakfast provisions, magnificent views. A feeling of total relaxation, especially after the hour long swim in the pool all to our selves and then an hour long soak in the spa bath.

Ruth was wonderful to deal with and very accommodating.

I couldn't recommend this place highly enough, if you are looking for a relaxing getaway for two then this is the place to stay.

A fantastic experience from sunrise to sunset and everything in between. The cabins were amazing - beautiful glasswork, wood features and everything provided that you could wish for. On top of this you can relax back in the swimming pool whilst still soaking in the view, gardens and natural beauty.

We left feeling completely rejuvenated and planning the next visit!

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending two nights here recently. We have not stopped raving about it. The setting, the accommodation, the furnishings, the atmosphere all were perfect.
We also highly recommend the dinner at the Peppermint Bay 'local', for a laid back but scrumptious meal.
Thanks Ruth and Finton for this fabulous time - our marriage is revitalised!!

This place is the most relaxing place we have ever stayed. The double reclining leather lounge is so comfy and the view is awesome. The whole place is very special, you don't even have to leave to get supplies, everything is there that you could possibly need, from slippers and bathrobes to wine to bacon and eggs. Also DVDs and CDs. A short drive takes you to a couple of delightful restaurants, as well as cheesery and cafes. You even get the indoor heated pool to play in. We will be back again soon!!!

Hand crafted from rainforest timbers salvaged from old growth logging operations and milled and built by the owners the luxurious cabin gave my partner and I a unique romantic getaway experience.
We used the well appointed kitchen to prepare local salmon and goats cheese with vegetables for our main meal rather than travel 10 minutes to the many dining options in the local area. Our meal was accompanied by a locally produced white wine from the quality selection available in the cabin at a very reasonable price. A wood fire thoroughly warmed the cabin on the cool winter evening and we enjoyed the view over Bruny Island to the Tasman Peninsula from the warmth of the spa with windows open to the elements.
