Stayed here for two nights only because we arrived late in the day and wanted to do the Gordon river cruise the next day (which was brilliant, catch the "Red Boat", its run by the locals). The cabin was average at best, the bathroom was not clean at all and very cramped. Probably overpriced for the state of the cabin. Would not stay here again.

For an average park, it's expensive at $39 per night for a powered site. Facilities are satisfactory without being flash. There isn't a lot of choice in Strahan so you get what you get. It's not a Big4 any more so the advertising is downright confusing.

We phoned through looking for a powered site on our way from Hobart. Luckily they were able to accomodate us on an odd site at the end of some cabins, as all other sites were full.
The toilets and showers were in seperate blocks which was really unusual and took a bit of getting used to.
The showers were ok, heaps of hot water, but some of the cubicles were a bit tight.

The park is very conveniently located, a 10 minute walk along the water to the main street area.

It was very expensive for a caravan park, but I guess that is the luxury of being in a remote location.

Stayed for 2 nights with another couple in adjoining "cosy" cabins. All we needed for a short stay, everything in working order and cabins were clean and well maintained. Would recommend for a short term stay.

The unpowered sites were just big enough for our big family tent but it was a bit awkward to know where to put the car so that other campers could get in or out. One of the 3 receptionists was very cheery, but the other two staff struggled to crack a smile. The toilets and showers were alright, but in need of a renovation, quite run down. If you are in a tent, you will have to stay here as there is nowhere else to camp in Strahan!

We stayed here for 2 nights. It was a bit of a let down. The bathroom facilities weren't all that clean, the toilets were filthy and the laundry...ugh. There was no security locks for the bathrooms or toilets so anyone could use them.
The reception staff were 3 ladies that just stared at us and could really only utter a couple of words, not great customer service.

We stayed for 3 nights in a cabin. The cabin was a good layout with sufficient space and facilities to be comfortable for a family of 4. It was probably better than some other cabins we have stayed at in Tassie and was certainly clean. The park is in a good quiet location, close to town with a little beach just a short walk from the park.

The lady who checked us in was unfriendly and unwelcoming. She appeared frustrated about having to serve customers. Certainly not a great introduction to Strahan. Fortunately, we did have a good visit in Strahan but no thanks to the welcome at the reception. If it wasn't for this, I would have rated this park as Very Good.

I should note that the reception to this park is not on site - it is across the road from the park and doubles as reception for both caravan parks in the area. This was a little confusing when we arrived initially. During our stay we were asked by several new people just arriving at the park where the reception was.
