We stayed with 4 adults (my partners parents and my partner and I) at the Seaview Farm for just one night on our travel down the East Coast of Tasmania - but really we would have liked to stay longer (note: don't rush it, there is plenty to see). We found the rooms a bit rustic, but didn't mind that at all as everything was clean, comfy and warm. It's a self catering place with shared kitchen and communal reading room - great for socialising with other travelers. As it was the Christmas holidays we couldn't organize food for dinner, but this was not a problem as we could buy some wine, wallaby steaks plus some fresh veggies and herbs from the garden for a very reasonable price.
My partner's parents do love gardens and there is plenty to see here - our lovely hosts showed us around the flower and veggie gardens the next morning and recommended a short nearby hike to a fantastic view point with 360 degrees views of the area and the ocean beaches. The farm itself is set in a lovely elevated spot with great views of the ocean and the surrounding forests. It's a quiet and relaxed place and we all agreed we'd like to come back if we ever this area of Tasmania again.
The farm is at the end of a few km of gravel road up the hill, but we found it an easy drive as the road is in a very good condition.
