Ocean and bush views that converts dreams into the real stuff for sights, smells and sounds; fine dining to check out after a break from your own culinary skills; cabins have luscious space and room to relax; coffee is the best in 40 klicks (watch out for novice Jen who doesn't drink the stuff yet can compete with the best baristas in the south); walks along the the white beaches are unmatched with anywhere north on the mainland; staff walk the talk with their genuine hospitality and willingness to go the extra mile to make it all worthwhile.

Studio rooms are lined up along the waters edge, with big windows and a deck to take in the view of the Hazards. All the usual fittings you'd expect in a hotel room, but much larger & more spacious. If you've got a car, it's only a few minutes drive from the main town of Coles Bay

Edge of the Bay studio rooms are very well appointed with the most breathtaking views we've ever seen. It was one of the few places that we saw that was literally on the edge of the water in the area. The facilities are great with tennis, bikes and boats at your disposal, all complementary. The restaurant provided beautiful meals from all local produce and the service was friendly. Make sure you book directly with the resort to receive restaurant discounts. The resort has a lovely eco feel about it without compromising quality.
The walks in the national park were great. The small town of Coles Bay provides just enough to grab a coffee or light lunch.

Room Tip: All the studio rooms face the sea, and are positioned so you don't see anyone else on their deck...

We rented a two bed cottage for 2 nights in September. Within 10 mins of checking in there was a wallaby sat on our doorstep which our baby daughter thought was fantastic. The view from the cottage, deck and main bedroom was stunning and we would definately stay here again.

What's not to like about this this place. Amazing views, tranquility and wallabies on your patio.
We stayed here for 2 nights in September 2012. We had a suite while our friends had a 2 bed cottage for themselves and their baby.
It was a great location for us as we got married in Honeymoon Bay just down the road. The suite we had was perfect lots of space and stunning views.
We will be coming back for future anniversaries.

We visited Edge of the Bay for two nights as part of a drive yourself around Tasmania trip.
This resort was well laid out with stunning views of the Hazards across Oyster Bay, local roamimg wildlife, and magical sunsets.
The rooms were exceptional, and very comfortable.
I would certainly return here on another trip.

Room Tip: They all have excellent views.
