“Worth the walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

Lovely views. Worth the walk, remember your camera. Landscape is amazing and certainly worth walking down to the beach on a nice day.

“Good walk and great views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

Although it was raining on the day when we went to the lookout, the views were stunningly beautiful. I have to say the walk was not too steep but there were quite many steps (we were told there were approximately 300 steps to get to the lookout). The views and everything were great but we found the way back to car park was pretty hard to walk. I am not sure why it was because we followed the sign which pointed the direction of car park but obviously that was not the way up we have just walked. You might have to remember which way you walk up to the lookout since there are more than one way back I guess.

Remember to register before going in there (just put your name down on the book at the entrance and sign it when you come back) and also remember to pay for the national park pass. We were told that we did not need to pay for it if we were just going to Wineglass Bay lookout at the visitor centre in Swansea before we left since we were not really entering the national park but we went to the national park information centre before going in to the park just to make sure of it and then we were told that we do need to purchase a park pass.

“Great walk and most beautiful beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

We did the walk on a clear sunny day, and it took us half an hour to get to the lookout (an hour return walk to the lookout if you don't stop too often), and we also walked down to the beach, taking us to 2 hour walk in total.
It was a great walk, found it quite easy except for the walk back up to the lookout from the beach, which was steep, slippery and rocky. I would recommend taking water and wearing ankle bracing shoes for the beach walk.
We are 25 years old and not very fit at all, but found it quite easy. I would recommend going down to the beach if you have the time and the motivation, it is so beautiful!

“Beautiful nature”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012 via mobile

Bush walk is a popular activity in Tasmania. Wineglass Bay is one of the famous point. It is a easy walking path and you can enjoy the fresh air along the way. You can oversee the half moon curve Bay at the top of the Lookout. Pity that on the day I went was a froogy day. But overall it's a comfortable place

“Brilliant Hike, worth a little effort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

The Wineglass bay lookout is an easy hike if you are moderately fit and definitely worthwhile. The view is spectacular! We also hiked further down to Hazard beach which took approx 2.5 hours in total but was one of the most stunning beaches I've seen, highly recommended!
