“Great service, delicious food and lovely location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2014

We recently stayed in Coles Bay for 2 nights to discover Freycinet national Park. We randomly went to Tombolo the 1st night and it was great! Really simple restaurant without fuss but what a great service we received ! The location is really nice too with a view on the mountains. The staff was really friendly and lovely to chat with. The food was delicious: pizzas, fish and chips, frangelico tart... Of course the local Tasmanian wines added nicely to our experience. After an entire day of walking in the beautiful scenery that the park has to offer we simply went back there the second night and were as much satisfied as the 1st night ! A Tasmanian address to remember !

“Yummy pizzas!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2014

Yummy pizzas with a nice outlook towards the Hazards. Service was very friendly too. Pizzas were quite generous so we struggled to finish one each. A good option if you want to eat out.

“Quality small town fare”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2013 via mobile

Good coffee by metro standards and really the only option in Coles Bay which is just as well. Staff very friendly and full of local knowledge. At night the pizza is first class, only problem is the stinky wind from sewage somewhere, burning some incense would be a welcome relief..

“Lovely Lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

We were expecting a simple lunch at this small cafe but were treated to excellent food and terrific service. Given that there are limited choices in Coles Bay, the town is lucky to have this jewel and if diners experience the same standard of cuisine and service as us, they will be very happy.
