“great food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

We had three meals in a row here. The owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming. Food is delicious. I didn't even like Ham and Pineapple pizza until I tasted the Sunny Garcia...heaven!

“Good coffee”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

Nice cosy place with good coffee. Ordered poached eggs alittle firmer buy got hard solid ones-annoying.
Thought the tasmanian salmon side for $8 was ludicrous!

“Tombola is good when it's open”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

Tombolo is good … when it’s opened. On a number of occasions we’ve dropped by for lunch or afternoon tea and found that it’s either closed or about to close for the day, this includes it closing on a Sunday afternoon of a summer long weekend as the owners were heading off to Hobart for a festival. I understand they close the café for a few months or so over the Winter season so it’s not like they don’t take breaks. As a Tasmanian, I’m concerned about the message this gives to tourists visiting our shores when restaurants and cafes are not opened for business, especially in the high season.

“Bay view, beautiful food, best coffee !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

After my first delightful visit to Tombolo, I recently returned for a second visit only to be wowed again by this beautiful little spot. The staff here really know what they are doing, you cant beat great coffee and fresh food when you are on the road. The atmosphere here is blissful, the deck is a perfect place to sit and enjoy a glass of local vino, the wine list showcases all the fantastic wineries in this area.
Basically, its the only cafe in Coles Bay to get an awesome hot breakfast, real coffee and great service with a smile. Thank you for giving us all somewhere to bliss out !

“Small and friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

If you don't want to eat at one of the bigger resorts then this is probably the best option available in Coles Bay. Nice woodfired pizzas and really friendly staff. Gets very busy so you might want to book
