Great location destroyed by rude waitress and disgusting food. We were looking for a local pub meal. We went on a Wednesday night for dinner and provided with a menu with pumpkin soup as the entree, 3 choices for main and 2 options for dessert for $18. We were ambivalent at the time but I said to my partner 'you can't get pumpkin soup wrong'. The soup was lumpy, watery and the cream had separated. After our entree we overheard 3 other tables ask if there were other options on the regular menu. They were told there was another menu but the chef had done all the prep for the specials, resulting on people walking out. I wish we had at that stage. For mains we had the fish cake and lasagne (the 3rd option was corned beef). I was told I could not have veggies instead of salad despite one of the set meals being served with veggies. I could not eat the lasagne and I'm a food lover who will pretty much eat anything. The fish cake was ok but we are convinced it was fresh out of the frozen section of the supermarket. For the dessert the apple crumble was ok but the golden syrup pudding was doughy and we left it. So yes - it was a very cheap meal in a beautiful part of the world but ruined our first night of our trip. Don't go here - we would have been much happier eating somewhere else and paying much more.
