“Peaceful Home Away From Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2006

My partner and I also Stayed here in Nov 2005 for two nights...

What a fanstastic and relaxing time we had! We took advantage of the free breakfast hamper (which came in handy, and we didn't get though all the food). When checking in we were made to feel welcomed and well taken care of, they even had milk bath for the Spa (to purchase), I was very happy!

This is a little home away from home. We stayed in the 'Love shack' this was located at the very end of the premises with two other cabins close by, but not too close. We were not disturbed once during our stay, but the front office was there if we ever needed them.

This came with everything you could need away from home...tv, dvd, cd player, bbq and a beautiful gas log fire! The whole place is designed so you can have as much privacy as you want, you back veranda is out of view of everyone etc... just wonderful!

This part of our trip was for relaxation and time out with each other... We still talk about how fantastic this part of our trip to Tassie was for us both. We hope to return back here at the end of this year or next, but I can not recommend this place more!

Stayed here in November 2005 for 2 nights. Accommodation is in cabins with kitchenette and bathroom, plus area for hanging wet gear (which you'll probably need since it rains about 300 days a year). There's also a very pleasant communal area with comfortable lounges, some books and magazines, fireplace, views over to Cradle Mountain and a little bar area. Laundry facilities are available, but there's a charge. We saw pademelons and possums hopping about outside and it's only a short drive to the National Park, so it's a pretty good alternative to staying right at Cradle Mountain.
