“Took a raft boat there”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2014

Excellent tour, fun and scary at the same time, service was excellent. The scary part was when the two seas met each other creating waves. We were taken by bus to a restaurant on the beach had morning tea then went out and came back to homemade soup and a freshly baked bread sandwich

“I expected more”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2014

Unfortunately it rained pretty heavily the day I visited Bruny. It's Tasmania so that goes with the territory but it does put a literal dampner on things.
I did some walks and the views weren't all the great. The one up to the highest point of Bruny was particularly disappointing. It was just to some old weather station. You couldn't see anything due to the dense forest.

The highlight was the lighthouse.

Worth the drive on the gravel road. The view south east and west are worth it all. Its about 50 minutes back to the ferry

“A great drive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2014

I did the 'adventure' tour on the speed boat and indeed it was an adventure with 2-4m seas, high wind and overcast weather. It was a rather 'hairy' trip which would be absolutely fantastic on a good day but be prepared if the weather is challenging as the trip wil be uncomfortable- bumpy & cold & wet, especially if you sit up front. however, it was perfectly safe with an expert skipper and amazing boat. the seals are always there and the dolphins were fantastic. a good day overall and very well run
