“Very Clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

We stayed here in November 2013, six of us had a 3 bedroom , the cabin has heaps of space & is very very clean throughout, a great deck to relax on also has a great homely feel , reception was very friendly. The resort has a swimming pool/ Spa section. A great place to stay & would highly recommend it as it has 1,2 & 3 Bedroom cabins , along with motel style rooms with on suite for the basic stay.

Room Tip: Any as this is a good place to stay

Called in late afternoon during the week and got a motel room for $140. This is the only place we stayed in Tassie where the wifi wasn't free, old hat these days, especially for the price of the room. The room is situated under the veranda of the restaurant so when the kids run around on the veranda it sounds like elephants coming through the ceiling. The room size was reasonable with a king bed that was very comfortable but a pokey en-suite with a shower head that kept tilting down.

The restaurant was comfortable with great views to the bay. The service was good however there was only another table of two and a table of 10 (5 adults & 5 kids). The food was really delicious, we shared a gnocchi entree and we had the pork and the vegetable stack for the mains, I had a chocolate mousse for dessert, all dishes 10/10.

We had planned to stay in another town altogether but terrible weather determined we keep driving, and we picked this place of the net quite late in the day.In fact we got the answering machine, initially and they rang us back, lady advised that they only had basic motel rooms ready and the views werent great. So we took them any way. Rooms were comfortable though. One couple needed single beds so as there were none in the motel part, the owner put them into one of the 3 bedroom units at no extra cost, and it was very good. It had the views, and all the amenities. Next time I am back that way I will pre book a unit. Didn't get to eat at the restaurant but the menu looked good. I would certainly give it another try

Have stayed at a couple of different places in Bridport, but this was by far the favourite!
The cabin we booked had lovely views of the ocean, was spacious, had a lovely decking out the front. It really was a home away from home. We really enjoyed having access to the pool and spa. The tennis court could do with a makeover, and the kids kept losing their tennis balls over the fence. Not sure if they have tidied it up since though.
Within walking distance to the shops, beach and pubs, this is the perfect place to stay for any occasion!
We have stayed here for 3 years in a row, and the cabins were always clean, and the staff friendly.

Room Tip: Every cabin we stayed in has been fantastic.

Booked into 3 chalets with 13 other scrap bookers. Using one chalet as main scrap space. Lovely spacious settings & design. Verandah to enjoy the bush like surrounds & ocean view from higher chalets. Walking distance to shops, beach & has a sea salt spa bath as well as a pool. Dinning in the restaurant was pleasant.

Friendly one night stop after flying into Launceston. Resort cabins and other facilities (pool etc) look OK but place was empty except for us and the quite small 80's style motel room we stayed in with ordinary fittings etc really doesn't deserve much comment except that we slept there quite well. Couldn't have swung a cat in the bathroom though.

Vue restaurant good but we were only diners so no atmosphere. I had the mussels and better half the soup which we both enjoyed. That's it. I guess summer would be livelier and more atmospheric as Bridport seems nice with a great pair of gold courses 10 minutes away.

Room Tip: Probably not the motel rooms

This is the best and cleanest (never needed our wipes, which we always carry) place we have stayed in, in the whole of Tasmania. Nothing to much trouble and the meals are excellent, with really genuine friendly staff.

Room Tip: Left it the management and nothing to complain about.
