“Absolutely beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

My girlfriends and I stayed two nights in a three bedroom villa. The view from the road into boat harbour is breathtaking and we hoped the rest of our stay would be just as good... And it was. The villa was gorgeous, bright and airy. Comfortable beds, water views and very bright, sparkly new and clean. 2 min stroll to the beach, perfect! We had the Thai banquet cooked for us and it was insanely amazing, and just kept coming...and coming! You might think $65 a head is expensive but we had enough for dinner both nights, breakfast (the fruit platter) and, with some rolls from the shop, cold leftover meat rolls for lunch too! All in all we just couldn't fault the place and would love to go back!!!

My friends and I recenlty stayed in the three bedroom villa and we couldn't have been happier with our stay.
The villa itself was just as beautiful as the photos and the view from the balcony and windows over looking Boat Harbour Beach is stunning. The villa itself was clean and nicely set up.
Prachuab the manager was welcoming, friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. We took the option of having the thai dinner cooked by Prachuab and brought to our villa and I can not recommend that option highly enough. The food was delicious and so plentiful that myself and four friends were able to get multiple meals from it. Our request to cater for one of our group being vegetarian was done so seemlessly.
We came away relaxed, happy and impressed with the lovely villa, amazing food and gracious friendly service we received.
I would definitley stay there again and recommend it to anyone visting Boat Harbour.

I checked in with my family to this 'luxury' escape. After negotiate my way past a weed infested patio and past the wheels bins, we made it inside. Clearly very nice we settled in for our two night/three day stay ($560). We discovered black mould caked at the back of the children's cupboard and to horror three large stains, complete with pubic hair, on the main bed.
Upon alerting the manager to this, he informed us there were no clean sheets. He then went to find some. An hour later we found him conducting a visual inspection of a number of sheets ( we presumed recycled) before selecting on and bringing it in. When he tried to used a Doona as a mattress protector we decided to leave. Another room was offered but by this stage we had lost confidence. He explained our reason, handed back the key and left. It was booked through wotif and they refused to provide a refund or even compromise on a one night refund. STAY AWAY!

From the minute we arrived til we left 3 days later, we felt very welcomed and comfortable at the Azzure Beach Houses. Prachuab, the resident manager, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation was spacious and inviting, and perfect for a family holiday. The houses are located 1-2 min walk from the beach, which is quiet and has lots of rockpools for the kids to explore. Boat Harbour is a very tiny town but is only a short drive to Stanley.
The only low point was the erratic Tassie weather ... it rained almost every time we went down to the beach!
The highlight of the stay was the optional home-cooked Thai dinner made by Prachuab.
We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children, and Prachuab provided enough food for 12!! Our son has severe allergies to eggs and nuts, but Prachuab was still able to provide delicious food which both the adults and kids enjoyed!!
The meal included 2 soups, 3 different types of entrees, 4 main dishes and a fruit platter for dessert!!! All the food was homemade, authentic and had beautifully balanced Thai flavours.
Highly recommended!!

Room Tip: The 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom villa was great for our party of 6. Main bathroom was too small.
