“NOT TO BE MISSED!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

We have just returned from one night at Bingle Tree. Luckily for us there was a cancellation on the Saturday. The location is simply wonderful and only took us about 40 minutes to get there which was a big plus, as was the 1pm check in.
All couples should spend time here to reconnect and to spend some romantic time together. It really does feel like you have the place to yourselves, along with the birds and alpacas.
We loved it. Came away totally chilled and very happy.

Room Tip: We were in the McClymont cabin which is the furthest away from the entrance so even more privacy.

Bingle Tree is just perfect, its peaceful, no traffic, secluded and private. The cabins are clean and well equipped with everything you may need. Very cosy and comfortable furnishings and an outside spa on each verandah, all this adds up to simply Bliss.

Room Tip: All cabins are the same

Would recommend these beautifully appointed and located cabins. So close the Sydney yet you feel a million miles away in the middle of the bush. Phillip our host was so accommodating and due to our late arrival left the lights on for us. A fresh loaf of bread, butter, spreads, fresh farm egg, cereal and fresh milk were all supplied. There were so many highlights, the spa bath on the balcony, relaxing with a glass of wine, BBQing on the balcony, spotting a mother possum and her baby as well as feeding the farm animals. Two days wasn't enough, and we will definately be returning.

The cabins are well appointed and comfortable. Good towels but unfortunately the spa on the deck didn't work. The fridge needed defrosting, the kitchen drawers could have done with a wipe, and one of the ceiling lights did not work. I pointed out these comments at noon, the globe had not been replaced by 5 p.m. The excuse was we are so busy we don't always have time. This is not good enough. There were eggs for breakfast, but no egg cups and no table mats which I think should be included in a 'luxury' resort. The breakfast supplies are basic - bread, eggs and cereal. No fruit juice, no fruit, no yoghourts.

Walks on the property are very limited as all the farming areas are fenced off so one has to go via the main road down to the creek. Windsor is 16km away so it is 30km round trip to go out for dinner. However, for people who want to BBQ and do their own cooking the facilities are excellent. The deck chairs and hammocks are also a great feature.

recommended for total absolute privacy for couples. The cabins are self contained and fully equipped. On arrival there is a basket laden with goodies for breakfast. There's also a basket of firewood for getting cosy by the fire after soaking in the outdoor couples spa, amongst the callings of the local wildlife in the misty valley below. We drove to Winsor and bought groceries to make our evening meal, but there are plenty of restaurants to choose from if you don't fancy cooking. There are canoes if you fancy drifting in the lake that runs along side the retreat and several walks in the area with differing levels of difficulty. Had a beautiful weekend here and are looking forward to the next one in a few weeks.

Stayed here for a few nights, the birdlife was impressive and the llamas fun to watch. We were happy that our cabin was secluded and the owners unobtrusive. Some of the decor is getting on a bit, but the spa was great and overall the experience a very good one. Ideal if you are looking to 'get away from it all' but don't want to venture far from sydney.
