“Great Service B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

What a wonderful place to stay. Sits by itself on a beautiful piece of property with large pond with ducks, flower gardens, and plenty of decks, patio and benches to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Just 5 min. from Hartville, where there is plenty of shopping, great candy store, and good food. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating. Charlie's cooking is the best! She even delivered coffee, scones & juice to our room an hour before breakfast. We were a group of 6 women and stayed in all three bedrooms on second floor, all very lovely and comfortable. For an extra special stay, the large room with king bed is super special. Thanks from the Club Girls

A beautiful quiet location just outside of Hartville. The host and hostess were just what you might wish for. Friendly but not intrusive. John and charlotte( Charlie) were very welcoming. Charlie is a fabulous cook and serves more than you usually have for two breakfasts. Also during the evening she served coffee and ice cream and apple dumpling when we arrived. Brkft. Is whatever time you desire, we picked 9am so also at 8 coffee, fresh squeezed juice and scones are outside your door.
This would be a beautiful place for a small wedding, lots of decks, yards and so much more. We were a group of ladies and had the second floor to ourselves. The largest room was to die for. The other two were pretty with a shared bath.

Room Tip: If possible secure the main room, it could be very romantic

We were looking for relaxation for our anniversary. We chose Quail's Covey and were amazed at beautiful setting for this home. We walked the grounds, sat next to a waterfall and a lake with swans, petted gentle donkeys and walked Quail's Hollow's hiking trail that borders the property. We stayed in the Dogwood Suite with a jacuzzi tub and sitting room. We had a delicious candlelight dinner followed by warm apple dumplings with ice cream in our room. After a restful sleep with sounds of nature outside our window, we were served an amazing breakfast. It was more than we could have imaged! But the best part were our hosts who opened their home to us and made us feel like special guests and friends. We will go back and next time stay longer. What a wonderful anniversary!

We went there for our anniversary and unfortunately, we could only stay one night. We have never been served like that before! From the moment we got there until we left we waited on hand and foot. We got warm apple dumplings with ice cream and coffee on Friday evening. Saturday morning we got coffee, fresh juice, and scones and that was BEFORE breakfast! The coffee was brought up to our room an hour before breakfast and when we went to the sunroom for breakfast we had a delicious meal there. Charlie ministered the love and peace of Jesus Christ to us and we can hardly wait to go back next year!

Room Tip: The Dogwood Suite is beautiful!

This is a unique B&B that is nestled next to the Quail Hollow state park. Charlie is a host that God has given the gift of hospitality. She is a fine chef and her food was amazing. My wife and I really enjoyed speaking with Charlie and learing how this wonderful B&B was birthed. The craftmanship of the home was uniquely done by John and he is very creative with construction. My wife and I were in need of get away/birthday celebration. We will keep this place in mind for future get away stays of rest and relaxtion. Thank you John and Charlie! We look forward to our next visit.

Room Tip: The Dogwood suite is great for couples looking to relaxe spend some quality time together.

In the telling of the story of the birth of Jesus, the innkeeper is sometimes incorrectly portrayed as a villain. The person who stuck them in the stable. In actuality, Mary and Joseph arrive in crisis, no reservation, at the worst time of the year because of the census. The innkeeper had no star to guide them like the wise men did. No angel sang to them about the child telling them to take special care of this guest. The innkeeper just helped, using their God-given skills of hospitality to care for weary travelers. Charlotte, we cannot express how grateful we are that you took in two mourners, without reservation, at the busiest time of the year. You have nurtured us inside and out. The fact that we had such better accommodations than Jesus just adds to the wonder of all you have provided to us. Thank you!

I traveled through Ohio last summer during the intense heat wave, but that did not interfere in any way with the relaxing, hospitable environment of the Quail's Covey B&B. You will be extremely well fed and are a stone's throw from a beautiful state park; it is adjacent to the family's property. Kent State, shopping, and scenic areas are all nearby. I loved it there and wish I could have stayed longer!

Room Tip: The master suite with large bath is awesome!!
