“Fantastic...food amazing, serrvice excellent....Tonic is all you need!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

We attended a wedding reception at Tonic last night.
Beautifully styled, great outdoor area & plenty of staff to look after us.
The facilities were excellent...clean & tidy.
The food was amazing, we had pumpkin soup in teacups...a really different way of presenting, & the soup was divine!
Mains were scotch fillet & duck....again, well cooked & beautifully presented.
Desserts...omg...to die for. Chocolate & caramel tart or passionfruit cheeseake.
They had a selection of tiny tarts as wel..lemon meringue, strawberry cheesecake & meringues.
We would highly recommend Tonic & would love to dine here again.

“Not Welcome for Coffee!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012 via mobile

We arrived on a Sunday morning at approximately 10am and the restaurant was almost empty. When greeted by a waitress I informed her we just wanted coffee. She then informed us that they only accepted customers ordering breakfast. We then walked a short distance to The Old Mill Cafe ..... It was very busy and they were happy to accept us for coffee only. We ended up ordering some of their delicious cakes. Great atmosphere and we will go straight to The Old Mill next time.
If Tonic continues to refuse service to customers just wanting a coffee when they have many empty tables they will lose many customers!

“Tip top Tonic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

Went for a private dinner and the food was outstanding, starting with a sweet potato soup, followed by a prawn entree and backstrap of veal. Service for a large group was exceptional and overall they should have got their hat back based on this meal.

“Fantastic Food and Great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012

We had a fantastic time the meal was fantastic and the service was outstanding at least at first untill they got very busy and then we were left to wait alittle longer than I liked but really was no problem. The price was fair and with 3 courses and wine for two people came in just shy of $200. Loved the whole experence !! If I was to be really picky the noise from other diners was all that I could complain about oh and the tables seemed just a little to wide to have a quiet conversation over. A MUST do if you are in the area

“As good as expected”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

We dine out a lot in Sydney, so our expectations are pretty high. Tonic was a wonderful experience. The restaurant is beautiful, the service and food both excellent. It is definitely fine dining in a small, historical village. My husband had the duck, I had the lamb, and we could not decide which was the better choice. We don't usually order pinot noir because it is so hard to find one we like. We took the recommendation of the waiter to try one, rather than a local Sangiovese we were considering. Maybe we would not have been happy with our first choice, but we were left unimpressed by the recommended pinot noir.
