“Great Motel in all aspects”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

Stayed 1 night on way to Blue Mountains. Great for a motel - very very welcoming staff at reception, taken good care of - Thankyou.
Room clean, has everything you need. Stayed on ground floor, was not aware of noise from road.

I had a room on the lower floor, whilst I could hear the traffic it was not an issue and did not keep me awake. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. I would not hesitate to stay another time. The fill-in managers were a delight and extremely helpful.

Room Tip: Possibly the ground floor is quieter than the 1st floor.

Outside lights need to be turned of sooner, the room was just too bright from the external light, blinds but no curtains. The taps in the bathroom did not have hot/cold on them, this I understand is a safety issue. All in all a nice place and would consider using it again some time,

The location of this motel is such that it's not really adjacent to the traditional Blue Mountains attractions. The night we stayed there the place seemed to be full of rail workers and sales reps. We were in the lower mountains for a christening and accommodation was required for my wife and I and our four year old grandson. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the family unit we were assigned - a comfortable queen sized bed and two singles in two rooms. The unit was immaculately clean and everything worked well. Service was friendly and efficient and despite the proximity to the Great Western Highway we were not bothered by traffic noise. If you, for some reason, want to stay in the lower mountains you could do a lot worse than stay here. We were charged $175 for one night - I thought this was a bit steep although we did have a two roomed unit. The only other carp I have would be the unavailability of a cooked breakfast though it appears that this lack might have been a temporary thing.

Room Tip: We stayed in Unit 4 and it was very nice

It is on the main road so is noisy but convenient. They prefer payment on check in, and breakfast is served in the room, but at least it ensures a quick exit in the morning. The rooms are basic but adequate, bed is comfortable and there was a small table and two chairs for breakfast in the room. Comfortable enough for a night if you are staying for a family event. If you were visiting as a tourist then I would suggest heading up to Katoomba for something more suitable.

My sister, female friend and myself stayed overnight 19 May - they shared, I had solo accommodation and after I had b*ggered the door getting in, Yvonne very kindly moved me to another room. Clean, comfortable, warm and plenty of hot water and NO shower head restrictors - will most definitly stay there again - thanks again Yvonne :-)

Room Tip: Take a tip - request accommodation away from the road, down the back, it's quieter

Loved that place and the couple that managed it. They gave us tips on where to go, where to eat and even tried for hours to get us on their WiFi, which unfortunately never came up. On a side note: after the end of February, they will have left to manage another property up in Northern Territory. Regardless, I just hope that this place will be kept up as well as we experienced it. It is located directly on the main road, and somewhat tricky to get in and out. The room and bathrooms were nicely updated and clean. Unfortunately, the bedroom space itself, was very, very tide. There is hardly a place for suitcases or alike. Despite the fact that it is located on the main road, it was surprisingly quiet at night, perhaps because we were on the bottom level. It is an excellent location from which to explore the Blue Mountains. It is just minutes away from visiting Katoomba, Leura, the Three Sisters, etc.., and only one hour away from Sydney airport.

Room Tip: ask for a room on the lower level to keep the street noise down
