“Arrived at Eden”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2014

It was everything I expected and then some. We arrived to this hillside Eden in the evening and was welcomed by the beautiful Jesse Rose, moonlight, twinkle lights and an inviting warm summer breeze. The gardens are lush and beautiful and our room was so comfortable. I just found my new home away from home. I will be back many more times.

We could not have been more pleased with this incredible property! They pulled out all the stops to ensure we had an unforgettable experience..the managing partner was on site and welcomed us personally with drinks. The food is AHHMAZING (order the meatloaf, its life changing)!!! Service is top notch and the views and atmosphere match it ten fold! Definitely recommend!!! Small and quaint...and perfect!! Will be back time and time again!!!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Serenity Suite and I couldnt have slept better at home in my own bed! Beautifully d...

To start we stayed in casa corona. A very nicely placed palapa, with a wonderful view of the ocean with the jungle at your door step.
Service is very good, the rooms are kept clean as well as the grounds. Jesse rose will fill all reasonable requests and make a variety of arrangements for you so you can enjoy your stay.
The room is large with a kings size comfortable bed.
Be aware you are nestled in a tropical jungle, so if you have fears of the critters of the night this just might not be the place for you.
The facility does need some upgrading, however the jungle does take its toll on anything in its path.
This is definitely not the Trump Tower or the Shangri-la hotel Vancouver, bet it definitely hold its own in Yelapa, Mexico.
Please remember if you are not up to climbing stairs, or are somewhat impeded when walking, this is not (including Yelapa) a place for you. Walking is your only means of transportation (ok there are horses and mules for a price.)
If you want a different vacation, if you want to get away from it all, if you like to experience a beautiful beach and an amazing tropical forest - GO GO GO.
Book early, this place books out fast

If you enjoy birds, well here is the suite, you awake every morning to the awesome sounds of thousands of birds. you fall asleep to the amazing sounds of toads, frogs crickets, and who knows what else.
This facility I give a rating for three its definitely not a five star hotel, but the view is amazing, the staff are great and its a wonderful experience.

We stayed here for three nights, which was not enough in my opinion. there is an interesting group of expats that live in the town, and have a small bar/restaurant in walking distance from the Casa de los Suenos. Our beds were super comfy, the nets helped keep the bugs where they belonged...not on us, and the kitchenette served us well, but you may want to stock up on some items at the store because it's such a long walk you may not want to do it multiple times. The owner was very friendly and helpful because my friend got a bad flu, and the owner looked for the town dr and gave her some over the counter drugs to help with her symptoms. The whole place is decorated so lovely and the beach is just a short, short walk away.

My wife and I have been joining a group of friends for a visit to Yelapa and Casa de los Suenos for seven years now. The group has changes, but the town has become a familiar welcoming place. I'm very pleased with the recent change of ownership at Casa de los Suenos. Jesse Rose and Luis are very hospitable and encouraged us to make the most of our stay in Yelapa. With loaner sea kayaks and beach umbrella, we ended up on the beach and in the ocean more this trip than any previous visits. Their town connections landed us with the best catered meal we've ever experienced. We went all-out this year and it was worth it.

Our group was big enough to rent the whole place, so my wife and I stayed in Corona Del Sol. The view was spectacular and the jungle sounds seemed less intrusive up there. It was a very peaceful place to relax.

If you are ready to make a trip to Yelapa, Casa de los Suenos should be seriously considered for your lodging. It combines the Yelapa feel with a warm, friendly and magical jungle/beach experience. Just don't forget your walking shoes...

Room Tip: This is not your ordinary hotel stay. Open-air palapas allow you to experience the real Yelapa.

Casa de Los Suenos is the perfect Yelapa retreat. The casas are pristine, bright, and filled with thoughtful decor. The owners are professional, friendly, and full of great advice for a memorable and rejuvenating vacation.

One thing we loved about Casa de los Suenos was the incredible tropical abundance. The flowering plants, mango trees, and coconuts were amazing. We woke up to the calls of beautiful birds we'd never seen before. Every moment was filled with the discovery of some new natural wonder right in front of our eyes. My son was fascinated by the land crabs!

I loved picking my daily beach reading from the well-chosen collection in the main house. My son just couldn't get enough beach time. And my husband was up early every morning to go fishing. It took less then a day for this east coast suburban family to loose our cares in this extremely mellow environment.

We spent our days on the beach (a short walk) and our evenings in the main house chatting with other guests, eat mangos and fresh young coconut, and swaying in a hammock. I'm not sure when we've been more relaxed! This was an experience my family will not soon forget.

I loved this place. Nestled between the jungle and the turquoise sea, each casita is unique, lovely and private. The proprietors know Yelapa extremely well and they are fantastic guides to what to do there: the best swimming, fish tacos, margaritas, fishing, etc. Yelapa is only accessible by water taxi and so there are no cars: no traffic, no honking, no sirens, no trucks. if you like white sand beaches, clear turquoise water in a protected cove, beachside cafes, friendly inhabitants, and wonderful walks coastside and upriver, Yelapa is the place to go. And if you like quiet beauty and peaceful relaxation, privacy, and a feeling of luxury at a very reasonable price, check out Los Sueños.
