I've been looking for an excellent small town restaurant and I found it at Nick's. Get there before 11am for the $6.95 Breakfast Special: eggs, toast (including real rye, not chain restaurant "marbled" rye), " Goetta", a Cincinnati regional culinary specialty, (a combination of pork, beef, pinoats, and spices), which they obtain from Wassler's Meats in Cincinnati, and wonderful home fried potatoes (with or without onions), all freshly prepared by Nick. Biscuits and gravy are also available until 11 am. Very friendly down-home atmosphere.
A disappearing American culinary experience. Worth a drive 1 1/2 miles from the I74 Harrison exit on Stone Street in the street-side small Harrison Plaza. Just park out front.
