“Excellent choice!”

What a great pub in a gorgeous village green setting - a fabulous menu, not just the usual pub grub but a bit more upmarket. The staff were friendly, lovely intimate dining rooms and huge portions!

“My 75th Birthday with the family”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

Party of seven for Sunday lunch last weekend. Arrived for the 3pm sitting, and commenced our starters at 3.40pm. No idea why, as we were the only people dining and the chef was away before three!! My meal was a bit of a disaster, knocked off the bill, as everything on the plate had obviously been re-cycled from the earlier sitting. One other meal was only half way there, also with re-cycled or left-over food. The other five meals were fine. I am sure the noon sitting would be far better, as the boss and the chef would be around. I would give it another go, as it does have a good reputation, but certainly not, repeat, certainly not for the second sitting on Sundays. Pricey for what we got.

“Amazing food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

Wow what can I say....... Wonderful experience. Great food, service and atmosphere. We were visiting the area for a relaxing night and stayed at the fabulous high hampsted b&b. The owner of high hampsted recommended noahs ark due to great food and it was just ten mins walk away. We had a drink before our meal, sitting outside and watching the cricket on the green. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and only has a small amount of tables, so you must book. The menu has a great selection and service was great. The price was reasonable also. The steak was the best I have ever had..... I cannot recommend this restaurant enough and will be going back. Very romantic also x

“SUPERB COUNTRY PUB, FANTASTIC FOOD, EXCELLENT SERVICE!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

Our party of six experienced another wonderful meal here at the Noah's Ark (where it is advisable to book - this was third time lucky!). The menu is varied and interesting and the staff go all out to make you feel welcome. The surroundings are homely, yet stylish and we were lucky enough to be seated in the "Ark" itself, a beautiful room with quirky interior styling and a cozy log burner at one end. Slight changes to the menu are met with flexibility, and the children wanted ribs as a main course instead of a starter! The crispy belly pork roast was probably the best I had tasted, with the scrumptious roasted apple mash as an accompaniment. My daughter's smoked haddock with blue cheese sauce was divine and my husband's burger truly home-made in flavour. The hand-cut chips are always welcome. Portions are always more than generous and the prices are fair, though not low. However, no-one minds paying for top-class food and you will never be disappointed at the Noah's Ark. Outside seating available with a view of a traditional village green.
